I’m a driven type of person who needs to be challenge and enjoy it all. When I’m not working you can find me hiking and enjoying the outdoor. Eating good food that’s good for my body and mind, and being mindful where it comes from. I would love to work in an atmosphere that combines all of my favorite topics with design.
I am a well-seasoned designer with 20+ years of experience in the fields of marketing, print, and digital media. Enclosed is my resumé detailing my experience in several fields throughout my career. I am looking for my next big challenge.
On a daily basis, I work with teams of editors and designers, while budgeting for photographers and illustrators. My works include magazine design, media kits, brochures, house ads, invitations, mailers, web design, and much more. At times I am required to work for several brands at the same time. My creative energy is accomplished using the full Adobe CS suites. HTML, and WordPress.
In my 15+ years of publishing experience, I have paid strong attention to detail and conceptual thinking. I’ve quickly risen to many challenges that were placed upon me. I began working with B2B publication companies and am now currently with a retail sports publication corporation. As the Design Director of Hoop Magazine, I manage, Hoop Magazine, NBA All-Star Magazine, and The NBA Finals magazines. I am especially proud of the total redesign of Hoop Magazine and the launch of the magazine into a digital magazine format. I also manage Hoop’s website (www.hoopmagazine.com) and the many promotional materials; all in a tight deadline. On top of that, I design varieties of sporting magazine NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and college sports, yearbooks and game days. From cover to cover. When I’m not at the office, I also do creative work for small private startups and big companies like the LVMH Group.
